1. Independent Research Tool

YardIQ is operated by Yard Pirate LLC ("Yard Pirate", "we", "us"). By creating an account or continuing to use the app you agree to these terms and are contracting with Yard Pirate LLC. YardIQ is an independent market-research tool built for auto-part resellers and salvage-yard professionals. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or associated with eBay Inc. in any way. eBay is a trademark of eBay Inc. and is used here only to describe the source of publicly available marketplace data.

2. User Accounts & Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use YardIQ. If you are under 18, you may use the service only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian. To subscribe to a paid plan, make purchases, or connect an eBay seller account, you must be at least 18 years old or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. We strongly recommend using a unique, strong password and enabling any available multi-factor authentication. You may not share your account credentials, create multiple accounts to circumvent usage limits, or transfer your account to another person without our prior written consent.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, for material breach of these terms, non-payment, suspected fraud or security risk, repeated violations of acceptable-use rules, or chargebacks. You retain ownership of the inventory, trip, and sales data you enter. Yard Pirate LLC retains ownership of the YardIQ software, branding, code, algorithms, and all other intellectual property in the service.

3. Data Sources

All pricing, sold-listing, listing-volume, and marketplace statistics shown in the app are obtained through third-party research and publicly available eBay APIs. The data is aggregated, anonymized, and provided for informational purposes only. Data accuracy, completeness, and availability depend entirely on those external sources and may change without notice.

4. No Guarantee of Accuracy

YardIQ does not guarantee that any statistic, sell-through rate, average sold price, or recommendation is accurate, complete, or current. Market conditions fluctuate, and historical sales do not predict future results. Always verify values and demand independently before making purchasing or pricing decisions.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use YardIQ responsibly and lawfully. You may not use the app to scrape, bulk-download, or redistribute underlying data for commercial resale or to compete with the service. You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the app; use automated scripts, bots, or other means to bypass usage limits or access controls; share accounts or credentials; or use the service for any unlawful, harassing, infringing, fraudulent, or abusive purpose. Access is granted for your own internal buying, selling, and inventory decisions only.

Violations of these rules may result in immediate suspension or termination, forfeiture of any remaining subscription period, and legal action where appropriate.

6. eBay Integration & OAuth

Connecting an eBay account is optional and entirely user-initiated. When you authorize YardIQ through eBay's OAuth flow, we receive and store access tokens that allow us to read your active listings, inventory, and related seller data, and to create or publish draft listings and offers on your behalf. We only access the data necessary to provide the import, inventory sync, and listing features you choose to use.

You remain solely responsible for the listings you publish through YardIQ, including pricing, descriptions, photos, category selection, shipping terms, and compliance with eBay's policies, fees, and selling agreements. We do not guarantee that any draft or offer will be accepted by eBay or become visible in Seller Hub. Disconnecting your eBay account in YardIQ stops future imports and publishing but does not remove or modify listings that are already live on eBay.

7. Subscription & Billing

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation, and refund mechanics are governed by the Paddle Buyer Terms. Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until canceled; you may cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the period you've paid for. We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee — see our Refund Policy. Free-tier usage is limited to the trial allowances described at sign-up and does not reset.

If a payment fails, we may retry the charge and suspend access until payment is successfully processed. Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute without first contacting support may result in immediate account suspension.

8. Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, suspected fraud or security risk, or repeated or serious violations of the acceptable-use rules above. You retain ownership of the inventory data you enter; Yard Pirate LLC retains ownership of the YardIQ software, branding, and all intellectual property in the service. The service is provided without any guarantee of uninterrupted or error-free operation.

9. Limitation of Liability

Yard Pirate LLC is not liable for any financial loss, inventory mistake, or business decision made using information from the app. You assume full responsibility for how you apply the insights provided. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these terms or the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100 if you did not have a paid subscription during that period.

10. Dispute Resolution & Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Before filing any formal legal claim, you agree to contact us at support@yardpirates.com and attempt to resolve the dispute informally within 30 days. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
