How to use YardIQ

A short guide to the three things most users do first: run a yard trip, track inventory, and check profit.

Run a yard trip

  1. 1

Tap Yard Trip and enter the vehicle year, make, and model. Add an extra keyword if you only want a specific side, color, body style, etc.

  2. 2

Tap Start yard trip. YardIQ builds one-tap links for every part category scoped to that vehicle.

  3. 3

Follow the Active and Sold links for a category, then type the numbers you see into the Sold and Active fields.

  4. 4

Enter an estimated sell price. YardIQ shows a Pull / Maybe / Skip suggestion based on sell-through and margin.

  5. 5

Tap the pull decision, add a photo of the vehicle if you want, and save the trip when you're done.

Tip: Use the sort dropdown to reorder categories by sell-through, average sold price, or name.

Track inventory

  1. 1

Every part you mark as Pull on a yard trip lands in Inventory with status Pulled.

  2. 2

Open an item to add cost, pull fee, location, and photos. Change status to Listed when it's live for sale.

  3. 3

When the part sells, tap Record sale, enter the sold price, and YardIQ calculates net profit after fees.

  4. 4

Use the status filter to see what's still pulled, listed, sold, or scrapped.

Tip: You can also bulk-import your own active eBay listings from My eBay Listings, then add cost and location afterward.

Review profit

  1. 1

Open Profit to see revenue, costs, net profit, and sold count for any time horizon.

  2. 2

Tap 7d, 30d, 90d, YTD, or All to change the period.

  3. 3

The chart shows net profit by week so you can spot trends.

  4. 4

Scroll down to see your top parts by profit and double-check what's actually selling.

Tip: Profit is based only on sales you've recorded. The more sales you log, the more accurate the picture.
